Some of my favorite places to be in the spring time are near bodies of water. I snapped these two images while being back home in Pennsylvania last year at one of my favorite state parks, Ohiopyle. I highly recommend the trails in this park, and the diversity of activities here. Camping, biking, hiking, rafting, backpacking, fishing, and exploring weird island type features are naming the obvious. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is another favorite in the spring time!

A design of mine that I really like how it turned out. It is a cover of an art magazine that also includes a non-profit art article. I allowed myself to be very free with the design on the cover. Adding different effects and textures until I had an interesting collage going.

so..i was visiting some friends in Cleveland last year on a cold april day. We took a drive into the city, which I thought was rather dirty, and empty. We were on our way to the rock and roll museum, so I was very hopeful to find something interesting that day. All of a sudden, we turned this bumpy corner and I saw this giant stamp. REalized it had free on it.. thought... now thats cool. Why didn't i think of that? Of course.. and the world just made more sense.

gorgeous fall colors today on a gorgeous drive behind the foothills. Eventually going through the mountaintown of Nederland,and took this stormy picture that was brewing above.

Destination to this gorgeous lake was tons of fun yesterday with clear skies and warm weather. The lake has a blue tint to it and is surrounded by giant boulders. I am on a boulder right now taking this picture that I had to climb up on. It would take a long time to get around this lake's border for sure! Usually extremely windy every other time I have hiked this, but not this time!

A super duper hike here.. clocks in around 6.5 miles round trip.. but quite worth the climb. One part of the hike goes through an aspen forest with gorgeous pictures yet tons of bugs. One stop for the perfect shot could mean at least 5 bites between head to toe..lol. This is with a lot of naturpel and burts bees bug oil on! Always interesting people up this way I find each time I hike this part. Snowcaps are behind me --->

This was a great spot for sure. Just camped here last night before returning back to boulder :) This is in Rocky Mountain National Park, and Longs Peak is viewable. Fresh snow packs the peak of Longs that I watched come and go. Much warmer tonight than others.. one can really freeze up here if your not prepared!

This was taken on my trip back to PA last week. Had a blast with some best friends of mine back there. I found a great spot to camp outside of my home town that was actually an island in the middle of a river. Tons of fun, lots of gorgeous bright colors of green all around the island that I don't get to see as much since living out west. Lots of interesting happenings throughout the night and we now claim this as 'our' spot!

a fun mountain town in this big range of mountains, I wish I could live here through all of the seasons :)

not many people do, but the ones who can will certainly understand the land.

the gorgeous summers blow through into the falling leaves of fall, and then whenever winter appears, you will see nothing but white for awhile.
